About Us

Welcome to Protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church.

We are a Byzantine Catholic church serving the Ebensburg area and surrounding communities.  We are part of the Ukrainian Catholic Church, which is a worldwide Church that includes members from many different cultures and ethnic backgrounds.  We are in full communion with the Roman Catholic Church.

Our parish was established in 1926 by Ukrainian immigrants.  Today, our church is a diverse group of people from many backgrounds. All people are welcome.

Our Bishop is the Most Reverend Bohdan Danylo.  Our pastor is Reverend Father Andriy Kelt.  We are a parish in the Saint Josaphat Eparchy.

Join Our Family

We are a small community of faithful much like in the early church.  We help each other through the good times and the bad.  We think of each other as family.  As family in Christ, we work together to help each other down the path of life and to the great reward of eternal life with Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

All who want to become part of “the family” are welcome to join us.

We are a small Christian community. We care about each other. We care about you too.

Come check us out.  All are welcome.
