We worship in the Byzantine Rite, which has deep roots in early Christianity and is steeped in Biblical traditions.
Our form of worship centers around the Eucharist in the Divine Liturgy. Our church uses the Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom and the Divine Liturgy of St. Basil the Great.
There are other Prayer Services that are used throughout the year:
- Presanctied Liturgy and Obidnitsyia: These ancient services are use during the Great Fast (Lent).
- Moleben: A Moleben is a prayer service offering praises to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ or to His Holy Mother the Theotokos.
Eastern Christian Formation (ECF) or Catechism is provided for school age children.
We use materials from God With Us publications.
St. Anna’s Kitchen
St. Anna’s Kitchen is open on the first Sunday of most months serving a meal to the faithful after the Liturgy. The meal is a main course with two sides, a salad and roll along with a dessert.
All that is asked for is a small donation for your meal. The proceeds are used to purchase the food for the next month’s meal.
